Mrs. Katie Owen
I am Katie Owen and I educate K-8 students in the art room at Durant Elementary, Fredericksburg Elementary, and Sumner Fredericksburg Middle School. I graduated from Simpson College in Indianola in 2007. I have been teaching K-8 Art in the S-F District since 2011.
I currently live in New Hampton with my husband (full time musician), son (4th grade), daughter (kindergarten), and two cats. My other loves besides my family and art include watching and playing sports (especially basketball and football), listening to live music, and reading.
