Meet the Teacher
Mrs. O'Brien
Hello, my name is Jacie O'Brien and this is my 13th year teaching! I attended Wartburg College where I earned a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in reading. In 2015 I earned my Masters of Education through Viterbo University where I also earned my early childhood endorsement.
I taught kindergarten for 11 years before moving to first grade in 22-23.
I live in Sumner with my husband and 3 sons. We enjoy spending time together.
I love teaching and look forward to another great year creating meaningful experiences with my first graders and the other students around me! Go Cougars!
