Meet the Teacher

Mr. Price

My name is Dan Price and this is my 3rd year at Durant and my 4th year of teaching. I currently teach 4th grade but have also taught 2nd and 5th. A few of my favorite hobbies are camping and traveling. Being out in nature is the best stress relief for me. I have been married, since 2015, to Amy Price, who is a Science teacher at SFHS. We just had our first child, Huxley, in October of 2022. He has been the light of our lives. Overall, my family and my students are my priorities and they are the reason that I do what I do and love doing it.
